This style of IPA is what is being called in the beer world a “Hazy IPA” Dominantly herbaceous and grassy, with moderate tropical notes as well as some bright citrus. This unique hazy IPA gains its flavor of grapes and grass from the Nelson hops, and its tropical notes of pineapple and mango from the Strata hops. It is unfiltered leaving a “haze” and some yeast for more texture. Chimay Cinq Cents (White)
@chimay_official Chimay, Région Wallonne Belgium (Belgian Tripel) ABV: 8.0% IBU: 38 RATING: 4.00/5.00 ️️️️ ME: Bob Weir. I’ve been hearing about this place so Leslie & I took the PCH down to Santa Monica. The whole Hillstone experience KICKED ASS! Everything is made fresh (even the chips). I especially liked the Crouton which is a very underrated food item. THEM: Named Cinq Cents in 75 cl (25.4 fl.oz.) bottles, this beer, with its typical golden color, slightly hazy appearance and fine head, is especially characterized by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. It was first brewed by the monks of Chimay at Scourmont Abbey in 1966. Above all it is the fruity notes of muscat and raisins that give this beer a particularly attractive aroma. @chimay_official @hillstone_santamonica #beershare
